The National Gathering will begins THURSDAY evening for those who can come early with a big community SongFarmers jam at the Bourbon County Public library. The main Gathering for WFPA memebrs begins Friday and Saturday in the beautiful horse farm country of rural Paris KY (near Lexington off I-75 & I-64) on May 8, 9 and 10. This Gathering is a musical retreat for current members of the WFPA, hosted at Michael Johnathon’s 7 acre Log Cabin property. It will be a weekend focused on the music, encouragement, the community of SongFarmers and building our “front porch around the world.” Register to attend and just present your card at the welcome table when you arrive. It’s that simple! Bring your instruments, a lawn chair, a notepad, your voice and joyful spirit … this is a SongFarmer’s picking party!!

Michael Johnathon will be hosting the next annual WOODSONGS ARTIST PICNIC for poets, painters, songwriters and authors on Sunday May 11 … on the same property and all SongFarmers are welcome to stay. The event is 1-6PM, pot luck picnic style, everybody creates something brand new and then we have a presentation concert of everthing the group created that afternoon.
